Have a piece of fanart!
Drew some Dean/Jo. Completely G-rated.

In the interest of honesty, I used a drawing by reira_21 as inspiration/reference for Jo's arm and head. You can see the piece here. It's the second one down. Plus, her art is amazing, so you should check her out anyway. Yay, art!

Her work is very Egon Schiele... have you seen him before? Here

This is very... tragic. I think your proportions and fluidness of the body is more... proportioned and fluid... did the spine and skull help? :)

I like it. The only thing bugging me about it is Alona's nose isn't her nose. She has such a distinct nose from the side. But otherwise, it's fairly good.

Hm, I didn't think of it as tragic when I was drawing it, but now that you say that, I guess it kind of is. Dean is just so broken (which he is, so). Yes, I'm happy with my proportions. Jo looks like her torso is kind of stretched an weird, but Alona actually has a stretched and weird torso (I used reference pictures! :D). The spine and skull definitely helped. I've also been using that book to copy just some random poses of bodies, which is almost helping more. Just getting used to drawing the correct proportions is helping A LOT.

Jo doesn't look like Alona at all. She did at one point but then I sort of over drew her and was too tired to erase. I was more interested in Dean, lol, and I think I got his likeness pretty well.

The thing that I really like about this is this is my first original drawing where they look grounded, like their weight is evenly and realistically distributed. Or at least, they do to me. And that's always a problem of mine, so I'm happy. :)

That was what I was trying to say when I said they looked more fluid. Like they were actually adhering to gravity, not just plunked rigidly on the page. You did an excellent job with Dean. I think you should be proud of it. :) I think her bum just needs to curve up a bit higher. Like, keep the bottom of the butt cheek where it is, but have where her bum begins be a tiny bit higher and it would stop her torso from looking elongated. I love how Dean is pressed against her so desperately.

I think I was subconsciously putting myself into Dean's characterization because I DESPERATELY WANT JO BACK.
